Landscapes
I always enjoy getting out with the camera, tripod, a set of filters and a flask of tea or coffee, either first thing in the morning or at the end of the day - it takes a lot to beat the feel of looking out at some beautiful scenery in, or in anticipation of, lovely light.
That said, a foggy, or stormy, day can make for great atmosphere and, with luck, some stunning images - so a weather forecast app, along with one that provides the sun’s direction (together with a tide-table app when near the coast) are really helpful in the planning process.
